I’ve written a few times about how the Derma Cleanse Acne Treatment System by Zenmed saved my skin a few years back when I was breaking out terribly, and thought I’d provide a more comprehensive review of my experience with the Zenmed Derma Cleanse Acne Treatment product now, since I just ordered the system again, as I am having some skin issues with acne again due to a high amount of stress in my life right now.

That’s right, if anyone tells you acne does not respond to stress, they are crazy.  I have actually read that some dermatologists and doctors, or other “experts” say that acne is not caused or brought on by stress, and I beg to differ - big time.  You see, I’ve suffered acne for most of my life, since I was about 14 and 15 years old to now, at the age of 32. 

I always notice that my acne begins to flare up again, even at the age of 32, when I am now considered to be suffering “adult acne”, when I am going through periods of anxiety and stress. 

One of the things that drew me to the Zenmed Derma Cleanse family of acne treatment products was the fact that it is based on Chinese medicine, and centers around internally treating acne with it’s Derma Cleanse natural pills which help settle the nervous system as well as purify the skin form the inside, and it’s other wonderful topical products which calm the skin, as well as an excellent line of products to reduce the appearance of acne scars. 

Their natural acne skin care remedy consists of organic botanicals which help to clam internal inflammation, and they are based on the Chinese idea that “internal excess heat” contributes greatly to acne, a concept that Chinese medicine is centered around, the idea that excess internal body heat usually brought on by stress and anxiety or consumption of a lot of sugars and othe skin no-no’s, is a key cause of acne and other skin conditions. 

If this internal chaos can be calmed, it follows that acne will settle down on the skin, and your acne bumps and lesions will begin to disappear as your body heals itself from the inside. 

Quite an abstract concept, isn’t it?  And yet, the Zenmed Acne Treatment herbal remedy and topical treatments worked like a charm on my skin years ago when I purchased it, and I’m hoping it will do the same this time around as well.  One note on the product and what you may notice.  I did notice that my skin broke out a little worse in the first few weeks, like maybe two weeks at the most. 

I did question this, and was told that this happens to some people in the first few weeks, because the impurities are brought to the surface as your body adjusts to the natural remedy being infused into the blood, and then it does calm down, and ultimately goes virtually away. 

This is all helped with the topical products as well, which are designed to soothe and heal the skin externally as your body goes through this necessary change on the inside.  This product really did wonders for my skin, and healed and cleared it for a long time.  Now I do feel I’m in need of a “retouch” and am ordering it again. 

To me, this has worked better than any dermatologist prescribed medication I had reviewed in the past, which usually put me through useless antibiotics and other medications that I did not feel comfortable taking.  

Then I read that prolonged antibiotic use can really lead to imbalances in the system which can actually contribute to further acne down the road, and other possible health issues related to an internal yeast imbalance.  I did not like this idea. 

With the Zenmed Derma Cleanse acne treatment products, I feel comfortable in giving it an excellent review, speaking from personal experience.  I love the fact that it’s all natural and pure also.
