Best Natural Acne Treatments

Acne Treatments, Derived from Nature

Acne is an affliction that crosses every boundary of race, age, and gender. It is also an affliction that many of us suffer from unnecessarily. Acne can be painful, ugly, and in some cases can even be disfiguring, leaving scars on the faces and bodies of the afflicted.

Luckily for us, studies have shown that acne can be treated safely with natural alternatives and natural, gentle acne cleansers.

These natural acne treatments are a boon for many acne sufferers who do not want to use harsh chemicals, medications, or other radical treatments on their faces, and for those of us who have tried these treatments and have seen them fail.

This can be very frustrating because we might feel that if powerful medications and strong chemicals don’t work, then what hope do natural cures have?

The answer is that these natural cures work with our bodies to prevent acne instead of treating the symptoms like conventional medicine will have us do. Read on to find out more about the best natural acne treatments and be sure to see our herbal acne supplements page for the best in skin clearing herbs.

Flush Your System

One school of thinking suggests that your skin, as the largest organ in your body, reacts to poor nutrition and a build up of toxins in your body. This school of thought recommends that you change your diet to exclude sugars and fats, and replace these things with dietary supplement shakes.

This way of thinking also recommends that you do your utmost to clear out your colon and increase your bowel movements to keep things moving. They recommend skipping breakfast, telling us that your body spends the night cleaning and flushing your systems, and that eating stops that process in favor of the digestion of more bad foods.

Herbal Remedies for Acne

They recommend lots of water every day, and promise acne-free results if you are religious about this part of the plan. This can be difficult to enact (give up sugar and fats?) but the results are worth it!

Eat Better, Way Better!

This method is very similar to the former method, with the exclusion of the idea of clearing our bowels on a more regular basis and of skipping breakfast. Water is still one of the best things that you can drink (and soda is one of the worst!) Eating a healthier diet is sure to make you feel better on the inside, and this will reflect itself on your face in no time at all.

Natural Topical Treatments

Eating better and clearing out your colon may lead to a healthier face over time, but to treat the symptoms now (and hopefully get rid of the existing blemishes), there are still natural alternatives.

A great face wash can be made by bringing a glass of milk to a boil and then adding the juice from half a lime. The milk is a natural moisturizer, and the acids in the lime juice will help to zap your zits and kill bacteria on your face. This mix can be kept safe in the fridge for a couple of days.

Another great natural treatment for your acne is a potato. Cut the potato and use the exposed insides to rub away your acne problems. The acids in the potato kill the bacteria, the roughish surface exfoliates your face, and the vitamin C in the potato will make your skin appear healthier and lovelier.

Now that your face is starting to clear up, remember to keep it healthy. Dry, red, itchy skin is almost as bad as a case of acne. If you do not like the idea of traditional moisturizers, then take things into your own hands!

Grinding up several almonds and adding a little water will make a great moisturizing paste that will exfoliate a little bit as well. Yogurt is also a great natural moisturizer, but make sure it is plain or your face will smell fruity and possibly take on a little of the fruity coloring as well.

Vitamins and herbal acne supplements can help with your overall health, and this will help with your acne over time. A healthier body will spawn a healthier face as your body will no longer have to sweat out those toxins and other yucky stuff that accumulate in your body.

Drinking lots of water will help with this, as will eating foods like fruits that have high vitamin content. It seems like the best natural treatments for acne can be combined to give you the perfect acne treatment and the healthiest body and skin.

No matter what natural cure or cures that you choose to use, you will be sure to feel better now that you have taken the health of your skin into your own hands and are no longer relying on expensive medications and treatments that are harsh on your body and skin, and may not even work. The power to change your body starts with you.

i need to know about how to treat hormones that cause acn without taking medicines, natural treatments

This is the email AcneMagazine sent back to Mariana :

    Hi Mariana

If you want to try to balance hormones naturally (which there is only so much you can do), without taking anything to do it, it’s important that you eat a balanced diet.  A lot of sugar and junk food with lots of carbs can actually affect your hormone balance.  So can lack of exercise.  Eating foods rich in vitamins and especially omega 3 oils, like fish may also be beneficial to maintaining your hormone levels.  These are the only suggestions I can think of that are natural and require no medicines, natural or non-natural, for acne.

Will drinking twelve glasses of eight ounce water a day prevent my acne from ever coming back if I also use a benzoyl peroxide cream on my face. If you think it will, text me back on 240-8366 or leave a voice-mail message. Thank-you
