Acne Magazine

I had an interesting zit recently (ok, today).  It started as one of those little bumps, just above my lip – and I hate when I get zits on my upper lip – it makes me feel as though greasy food is causing them or something. 

I thought it would just dry up and go away, but lo and behold, I woke up this morning to a whitehead!  Why do I sound surprised?  Because living with acne for so many years, I thought I really new my acne bumps by now, and this one looked to be a perfectly harmless, temporary bump that would go away instead of swelling into a whitehead, which is basically an infected zit which fills up with dead white blood cells (the pus that comes out of a whitehead – I know, gross). 

Of course, I expertly extracted the whitehead, and put some of my new Murad spot treatment on it.  Next I plan on washing it with either Murad wash or the zenmed stuff which I also like.
